Attending Your First School

What to bring, what to expect, and how to get the most out of the run count.

Arrive in shape. A two-day school is physically demanding and students who fade on day one lose half their run count.

Bring boots you can land in, gloves, tape, and a way to film. Almost every school allows filming and almost no student takes full advantage of it.

Before you leave, ask the instructor what the single biggest thing to work on is. Write it down. That one sentence is often worth more than the rest of the weekend.

Key Points

  • Arrive conditioned
  • Bring film capability
  • Ask for a written plan
